Zimbra

I also try Zimbra knowen as Web2.0 interfaced e-mail and collaboration tool. Zimbra has high ability, but it has only e-mail and calendar panel. For selected situation, it is maybe enough. But I want to catch up whole work flow. The other hand Zimbra contein e-mail spam filter inside. It definitely seems good. I would use it and offer to my co-workers.

　AJAX を駆使したグループウェアとして、Zimbra は有名です。かなり使い勝手も良さそうなのですが、使えるツールが電子メールとカレンダーだけなので、文書管理だとか、プロジェクト管理などは別にサーバーソフトウェアを用意する必要があるところが面倒なところ。



　rPath Linux で提供されている VMware 版のサーバーを使ってみましたが、やはりメインは電子メールクライアントのようです。カレンダーにしろ、電子メールにしろ、Gmailの方がなんとも使い勝手がいいので、Google Apps for you domain を利用した方が便利そうだし、停電の心配もしなくていいので安心かな。
